FINCA International is currently looking for a Vice President & Regional Director (VP&RD) for Africa to be based in Africa.  The VP&RD will be responsible to execute the Africa strategy developed jointly with other members of FINCA's management team. (S)he will supervise and manage the performance of FINCA's microfinance institutions in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
 
Ideal profile:
- Master's degree in a business administration-related discipline or a combined financial intermediation and international development experience of at least 15 years,
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive managerial experience in microfinance and/or retail banking operations experience, preferably with international organizations working in developing countries, at least 5 years in top management positions, extensive operations experience,
- Extensive experience in Africa or having networks of business and governmental contacts in Eastern, West and Southern Africa is an asset,
- Fluent in English, French an asset,
- Ability to travel extensively throughout sub-Saharan Africa (minimum 50%).
