The Government of Mozambique has received financial support from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and from the African Development Fund (AfDB), for the support of the Rural Finance Support Programme (RFSP) over a period of 8 and 6 years, respectively.

The Programme aims to (i) improve access to financial services on a sustainable basis to rural enterprises and a broad cross section for the population in the rural areas; and (ii) create a positive and conducive institutional and policy environment for the development and sustainable provision of rural finance services.

The Fund for Support and Rehabilitation of Economy -FARE, as a coordinator and manager of the RFSP, is now in the process of staffing, and therefore invites individual professional candidates to fill the position of Rural Finance Specialist (Investment Officer).

Interested candidates are required to send their application/motivation letter, CV and documents of proof of qualification up to 15:00H of 30th October 2009. These documents should be in both Portuguese and English languages at least the CV.
