Dear Members of Rural Finance Network,

The annual Joint Rural Finance Thematic workshop for the year 2010 jointly organized by International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) Regional Office for Africa, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) supported Knowledge Management Programme (KMP), and the Swedish Co-operative Centre & Vi-Agroforestry (SCC-Vi), Regional Offices in Eastern and Southern Africa. The workshop will take place  22-24 September 2010 at the Intercontinental Hotel Lusaka, Zambia

The theme " Rural finance best practices along value chains - Case for East and Southern Africa". As per the atttached Concept Paper, the organizers are soliciting organizations and individuals to come forward with proposals for presentations. Your proposal should consist of the following;

-     A short description of your organization and personal background,

-     A short description of what you want to present at the workshop,

-     Within which theme you want to place your presentation and how you propose to add to the conclusions in this theme,

-     Whether you would also be willing to act as a moderator of the session in which you are presenting and present the findings of the workshop to the larger audience.
